The licensed athletic trainer will be responsible for teaching classes in allied healthcare in career and technology-based (CTTIE) electives such as Emergency Medical Responder, Sports Medicine I, II, &III, and/or health sciences classes. Certification to teach these subjects will be provided if not already certified.
The licensed athletic trainer will also be charged with providing athletic training services to school-sponsored athletic teams while working with other Louisiana Athletic Care Athletic Trainers and their Athletic Healthcare Alliances. Perform pre and post-school athletic training duties associated with the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of sports-related health care and welfare as directed by the school's medical director; assist with other educational and athletic-related functions under the direction of the Principal and Louisiana Athletic Care.

Requirements:
- NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer;
- Minimum of one year of work experience in Athletic Training (can be an internship);
- Possess, or eligible for, State License through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
Preferred:
- 1+ years of NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer experience;
- Emergency Medical Responder Instructor licensed by the Louisiana Bureau of Emergency Medical Services
- Eligible or credentialed for Louisiana Teachers License.
