Important St. Landry Parish School District Announcement:
After consulting with the Office of Emergency Preparedness, all schools and administrative offices will be open tomorrow, Thursday, September 12, 2024. However, please be aware that there may be transportation delays due to the aftermath of Hurricane Francine. Given the extensive geography of our parish, we understand that some areas may face challenges. If your family is experiencing storm-related difficulties that prevent your child from attending school, please reach out to the school to inform them.

CMS: 🐾 Attention all 6th grade students and parents: Coach Chris Lewis with the EJHS boy’s basketball team is excited to announce that CMS 6th graders are now able to tryout for the 2024-2025 team! 🏀 We are looking forward to a great season!
All students who wish to tryout will need:
1. A completed physical exam form
2. Tennis shoes
3. Athletic clothing (shirt and shorts)
4. A signed copy of the parent letter
Students can get their parent letters from Coach Lewis’ classroom during their PE, band, or resource classes, with the teacher's permission. These letters have to be signed and turned in before or at the tryouts on September 3rd! 🐾
