The Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts (MACA) family is thrilled to announce Sandra Castille as our new Acting Principal!

Mrs. Castille is deeply rooted in our community and brings a wealth of passion, experience, and personal dedication to this role. A proud product of the St. Landry Parish School System and a 1999 graduate of Port Barre High School, her commitment to local education runs deep.

Since November 2024, Mrs. Castille has served as MACA’s Assistant Principal, working closely with our faculty, staff, and students to foster an environment of academic and artistic excellence. However, her connection to MACA began long before she joined our administration. She has been a dedicated member of the MACA family since 2018 as a proud parent, celebrating the graduation of her own MACA student in 2025.

As a passionate lover of the arts and an active local theatre actress, Mrs. Castille truly embodies the spirit of our school. She understands firsthand the transformative power of arts education and is dedicated to ensuring that every MACA student has the support, inspiration, and resources to thrive both creatively and academically.
